Biography

Guy Andrews was a very promising raw talent from a wrestling school on Earth run by a friend of the GWF's Commando Sam. When Desolation Factor betrayed the FDF by joining Mangus' Alien Connection in 2112, Sam needed to fill the vacant tag slot in the FDF to combat the traitors and their new allies. He turned to his old friend on Earth who sent Andrews and Mark Richir to the GWF. They changed their names to American Guy and U.S. Male, collectively called Stars and Stripes. The name was chosen partly because both men are from the United States on Earth. American Guy's background was tougher than that of U.S. Male. Guy ran away from an abusive home before he even hit his teen years. He grew up on the streets with a "rough-and-tumble" approach to life. American Guy had a desire to be an Olympic wrestler but felt that it just did not suit him. He felt the "rough-and-rugged" world of pro wrestling was more his style. American Guy was the more powerful, outspoken member of the team but he demonstrated an aptitude for mat wrestling. They consistently out wrestled Desolation Factor en route to a victory over Alien Connection in 2114's Sudden Death conflict. Stars and Stripes moved to a feud with Colonizer Empire in 2115. 2116 saw the arrival of The Troubleshooters and the beginning of a long-term feud for Stars and Stripes. It also saw Guy begin to make known his desire for singles action. By the end of the year Guy was less vocal about his desire, but probably was still unhappy being tied to tag action. The next year saw Atys Tetrac return to his Manslaughter personna and leave the FDF to join the Troubleshooters. The next year Commando Sam retired leaving Stars and Stripes to find their own identity. They brought Latasha, another Earth native, on to the team. American Guy began to make overtures towards Phantasy in 2120. This led to increased tension between the two teams, especially after there was a valet swap! American Guy made the biggest decision of his career in 2122, siding with Sly Drury and the Outlaws after being targeted as an dishonorable GWF hero. In a surprising and extremely arrogant move, American Guy chose to attack U.S. Male to kick off another emotional feud involving the former Stars and Stripes. After getting decked by Valour during an altercation in a bar, Guy entered 2123 with two active fights with former partners. After it was reveled that Sly Drury was Iron Hand and Drury named him as a troublemaker, Guy was approached by The Dark Menace to join his unofficial "group", Covert Operation. With Phantasy having left him to hang with Drury, Guy approached U.S. Male again about reforming their tag-team. They decided that they would team together as needed in order to go after Divided We Fall. They did not reconciled and to highlight that they were working together toward a common goal, they named their new team Common Enemy. American Guy was designated as part of the pool of wrestler to take part in the Infinity Challenge in 2125. He approached this as a chance to revitalize his career as a singles wrestler without the distractions of Phantasy or a tag-team partner. Upset with the Infinity Challenge, Guy refused to take part in 2126. Accepting a cut in pay to stay in the GWF, he joined forces with Tanck and Scimitar. American Guy left the GWF at the end of 2126, possibly to wrestle in an Indy fed, or possibly to retire.
