Biography

In a sport of conflict and hatred, it's somewhat rare to find a true humanitarian like Lord Nexus, patriarch of the Fighting Titans. It was Nexus' honesty as a witness to a secret attack that caused Commander Krakan to be incarcerated in the CTA-102/Titan conflict, an incident that would spark one of the bitterest and longest-lasting rivalries in GWF history after both became wrestlers.

Nexus came to the GWF in 2083, heading up the Flying (later Fighting) Titans squad, known initially by the name as a result of their aerial prowess. With partners like Pit Viper/Dragonmaster, Pulsar, Quasar, and Billy Jo Boxer (with whom he formed the legendary TitanPower tag-team), Nexus served as the figurehead for the squad. He piloted them through bloody battles with the Society of Death, Masked Assassins, and HitMen for Hire, among others, performing admirably in the WarGames, Sudden Death, and MegaTournament eras of the GWF.

By 2100 or so, with his in ring abilities winding down, he took over for Trainer Jim as manager of the team, bringing in Rising Sun in 2100 and his adopted son Scion Nexus in 2104 and guiding non-Titan team members like Ursa Major and Talon to tag-team and cruiserweight prominence. In 2110, he tried to help the Mutant become Transevolved (with Doomsayer's help) back into Montrol which proved ineffective, as Montrol was actually one of the Terrorists!

After returning with the rest of the GWF to Dimension K, he signed Krakan's daughter Sniper to the Titans, and he also began questioning the vengeful activities of his fellow Hero managers like Commando Sam and Avenging Warrior, believing that the side of good should always fight honorably so as not to sink to the level of their foes. Nexus and the Titans battled Sam and his team in 2113 for the right to guide the actions of the entire Hero squad during the pivotal Sudden Death series against the Villains the next year. Nexus came out victorious once again, and he also led the Titans to a key win over the HitMen in 2114, despite losing Rising Sun (Eclipse) to the rival faction. Had he lost, he would have been banished from the GWF forever. Instead, Krakan was the one getting banished.

His unblemished 5-0 Sudden Death record is most definitely something to be proud of, as is his sense of loyalty and community. Throughout his career, Nexus has remained loyal to the league and team that gave him so much, and he gives back to his community and the galaxy at large tenfold.

Lord Nexus had barely had any time to celebrate his victory over Krakan in 2115. He faced a group feud against the cunning Godsend and the Fourth Realm when they first arrived in the GWF with more than just a wrestling victory is at stake. With the arrival of the Second Realm to take on the Fourth Realm, Lord Nexus and the Titans, including the returning Eclipse, turned their attention to Thantos’ Angry Young Men. Their feud would continue for the next three years and include the retirement of Ursa Major, the brutal injury of Tristan, and the arrival of a new, more extreme Titan in Payback, as well as a series of charity matches with the Exiles team from the CPC. With old age finally catching up with the truest hero in GWF history, Lord Nexus retired and returned to his family on Titan in 2119.
