Biography

This Andromedan scourge formed an army of alien rogues to terrorize people across the galaxy. The team, dubbed the Colonizers, invaded the planet Omicron near the Scorpi Black Hole in 2096. Mandrill established himself as dictator and would rule over Omicron for 2 years. Following the Omicron Event of 2098 rebel leader, Max Shield, challenged Mandrill to settle the war in the GWF instead of on the battle-ravaged planet. Mandrill agreed to the challenge leading to a new feud in 2100. Mandrill's ego led to a power play for the leadership of the villain forces in the GWF. The Colonizers were defeated by the Omicron team, Genesis, in their 2104 Sudden Death feud. Mandrill banished loyalist Tocsin and placed him under the guise of bodyguard Sentry. The would-be dictator continued his push to the top in 2106 by stealing the Alpha Stone from Chaos, which he admitted to at a later date. His hunger for power continued unabated when the GWF moved to Centra in 2110. The power-mad Andromedan attempted to attack the planet which drew the anger of Corporal Aegis. The Centran began a feud with the Colonizers with help from teammates Max Shield and Genocide. Mandrill continued to add his name to the headlines in 2111 with a failed recruitment attempt of the feared Ravagers. This did not deter Mandrill as he claimed the Heavyweight Championship during the transition back to Dimension K. Mandrill continued to showcase his selfish nature when he stranded Painmaster on Centra, claiming that Painmaster was staying behind to help found a new Centran wrestling federation. Mandrill's quest to become the leader of the villain team back fired big time in 2112. The Gladiators took exception to Mandrill's power play and thus a protracted feud was born between the two groups. Mandrill, ever the opportunist, decided it was best to form a temporary alliance with Max Shield's group in 2114 in an attempt to remove Cordanus from the path to power. The impressive coalition, however, would go on to suffer defeat at the hands of Cordanus' Takeover team. Mandrill would continue his parade in the galactic spotlight with two major events in the next year. A brutal attack was perpetrated by Kill Prey with a net and gutarr stick after a match in 2115. This assault led to the second event, the reformation of the legendary AniMen of Andromeda with the icon Wolf. The legends teamed with other Andromedans to gain revenge on Kill Prey and the Thrill Of The Chase squad. The conflict continued well into 2116 where the AniMen engaged in a feud with the Colonizers as well as Kill Prey and company. Mandrill thought he was getting a reprieve in 2117 when Thrill Of The Chase moved onto other conflicts. The power-mad conqueror could not have been more mistaken in this case as Mandrill's past came back to haunt him when Painmaster returned to the GWF. Painmaster upped the ante in a big way by joining the Colonizers to feud with the AniMen. 2118 would prove to be the turning point for Mandrill in and out of the ring. The AniMan conqueror started to see a physical decline in his “in-ring” abilities. Mandrill stunned the wrestling galaxy by attacking the Species squad in a CPC ring. It turns out that Mandrill's DNA was used to create Darwin's Legacy, for which Mandrill was supposed to secure the services of the Legacy tandem. Dr. Barnabas claims Mandrill had completely misunderstood the terms of the deal. This resulted in a 2118 cross-promotional feud between the AniMen and the Species teams. Mandrill's woes did not end with the supposedly broken deal with Barnabas. Tauran, who had a major score to settle with Mandrill, returned to the GWF much more youthful than his last sojourn in the federation. Then the biggest shocker of all took place.. Mandrill stepped down from the leadership of the Colonizer group. The scoundrel Epoch took the leadership role for, at that time, unknown reasons. Mandrill tried to end a wild year in 2118 by assuming more of a managerial role for the Colonizers. He was unable to stop his past from blowing up in his face. It came to light in 2119 that Mandrill had brokered a deal with Epoch many years ago. Epoch would assume leadership of the Colonizers in return for his help in an infamous invasion of the Andromeda star system. Mandrill would use this secret help to secure the leadership of the AniMen armies. The attack was set-up to lay blame on the Aethrans who had nothing to do with the invasion. This shocking secret has outraged the Andromedan people who want revenge for this dastardly act. Mandrill went into hiding in probably one of the wisest decisions of his life.
