Biography

Born from the molten lava of Mt. Ragnarok on the fiery red planet known as Primus in the Centra Dimension, this living demigod was considered one of the premier members of the aCe. After appearing in front of thousands of frenzied denizens during The Day of Reckoning, Paganax was recognized as the one and only Heathen Chief of the beastly Tribesman of Primus. Paganax is a physically impressive sight to behold to say the least, with an equally brutal fighting style to match. Acting as protectors of the Centra Dimension, the Ravager Army identified the birth of the Heathen Chief as a sign of dark times to come. So much so that they actually launched a surprise attack on the Day of Reckoning which would be one of the largest battles of the Holy War. The Ravagers were unsuccessful in their attempt to take out Paganax during this Battle of the Lunar Eclipse and since that day the Chief's intelligence and fighting abilities have shone through, certainly solidifying him as the threat that the Ravagers originally feared.

When the aCe was formed in early 2119, General Rankor proposed an offer to the Heathen Chief. The exact details of the agreement are still shrouded in mystery, but what is known is that the two formed a very loose alliance, basically assuring one another that the prized Essence would be brought to Planet Primus by way of the aCe. As time passed, the alliance between General Rankor and Paganax continued to weaken. The breaking point came in bloody fashion during the Tribal Tragedy in which The Judas Syndicate mercilessly attacked Paganax and his followers. The Chief was pinned down and then gunned down by his enemies. If not for the heroic act of the lowly Grovel, who gave his life-force to Paganax, the Heathen Chief would have been gone for good. Resurrected in 2121 with revenge on his mind, Paganax led a new version of Darkness Falls into final Battle, this time on the side of good.

Paganax was approached by both The Syndicate and The Six about joining their respective group in the new aCe. He responded to both overtures the same way, he attacked the person who approached him. The Heathen Chief of Primus harbors a deep hatred for many people within the new aCe, especially the Syndicate for their destruction of his home planet and the "heroes" of the federation who he believes let him down in the Battle for Centra. Without any other means to avenge his fallen tribesman and unleash his rage, Paganax finally decided to accept the aCe contract offered to him.

In 2125 Sly Drury pulled off the biggest signing of his time as Commissioner when he signed the Heathen Chief to a GWF contract. How Drury got in contact with Paganax and got him to the GWF is unknown, but offering him leadership of Rogues Gallery seemed to be the selling point that sealed the deal. Paganax's welcome to the GWF came in the form of a feud with the leader of the FDF, Endgame. For 2126, Paganax took the reigns as leader of the Council of War and entered into a feud with Covert Operations. He was also designated as one of the revolving co-commissioners of the GWF. For 2127, Council of War has lost two members, Coven Black and Patch, and gained the services of Retribution. This has resulted in Paganax feuding with Black. In 2128, the Overmaster demoted Paganax and set up Thraxx as leader of the Council of War. Paganax continued to feud with Coven Black, but also set his sights on Patch and, possibly, End of Days. In 2129, Paganax has become the leader of the Federation Defense Fighters and plans to lead them to victory over the Gladiators and Black Death. Paganax has attained a new clarity to his life and is ready to lead the fight.
