Biography

One of the most infamous legends in GWF history, Thantos was never one for taking a back seat to anyone. He debuted as Cosmos, the protégé of Omega in 2076. Cosmos spent years tagging with Star Warrior as the GameMasters. He became jealous at supposed favoritism by Omega for his son Star Warrior. Cosmos allowed Morpheus, Omega's archenemy, to negatively influence him which lead to the shattering of the Galaxian Code. This vicious act stunned the galaxy while leaving the GWF in a state of disarray. This was the start of Thantos' long infamous reign as the Galaxian Villains' figurehead. Thantos schemed in various ways over the years in a continual attempt to destroy the Galaxian Heroes…especially Omega and Star Warrior.

2096 saw Thantos swallow his pride as he rejoined Omega and Star Warrior. This "change of heart" was brought about after Thantos humiliation at the hands of Chaos and his cohorts stemming from the Gamemaster's ousting from that team. This reunion would last several years until 2105 when Thantos "true colors" shown once again.

Thantos agreed to manage the CPC's premier team the Penthouse Suite. He felt this was the move to make after the perceived mishandling by the GWF his retirement. He successfully guided Penthouse Suite and Team CPC over the next few years. Thantos would eventually leave Team CPC and join forces with Cordanus and the Takeover squad. It was during this time that Thantos brought his son to the GWF as a part of this new team. Thantos was also managing Bloodline, another member of the Omega family. He accepted Star Warrior's Sudden Death challenge where the losing manager would leave the GWF forever. Takeover feuded with Star Warrior's team during the 2114 Sudden Death feuds. Thantos helped lead Takeover to victory in this headlining feud against the GWF Coalition. He apparently had the last laugh in this long-standing feud as Star Warrior left the GWF. There are few that can boast an incredible title history like that of Thantos.

He has multiple title reigns within the Heavyweight, Interplanetary and Heavy Metal divisions. Thantos has shown he is the manager of champions including top talent such as Matador of M83, Paragon, Prodigy and Terminus. Thantos' feud with Star Warrior is considered one of the all-time greats in GWF history. His ego would not allow him to share the glory of the Sudden Death victory with Cordanus. This led to the formation of the new squad, Angry Young Men, led by Thantos. The newly formed team feuded with Cordanus and Takeover in 2115. Thantos continued to manage the group over the next few years while weathering unrest between Bloodline and Encubus. The team feuded primarily with the Titans during this time. Vyper left the team in 2117 feeling Thantos was not properly managing his career. Thantos was instrumental in the heinous attack on the rookie Titan, Tristan. It was shortly after this attack that Thantos signed Tanck to the team. The Gamemaster paid for his actions the following year with the emergence of Payback. The hardcore Titan viciously attacked Thantos with a metal pipe.

2119 was a turning point for many people including Thantos. It was revealed that Bloodline was Star Warrior's son. This revelation led to Bloodline's defection to the FDF. Thantos then claimed to support Bloodline for years in another attempt to degrade Omega's family. The Gamemaster said he despised every minute spent with Bloodline due to his family connections. Thantos formed The GameMasters squad that same year with Encubus, Sly Drury, Tanck and the Betrayer. The group began a bitter feud with the FDF led by Lorelei. Thantos would suffer the most humiliating event of his life in 2120. He was beat down by The GameMasters at the behest of Epoch. Thantos disappeared after this humiliating betrayal at the hands of his son. Some speculate that Thantos is plotting revenge. Others feel this act was too much for Thantos and he has retired for good. Only time will tell which is the case here. One never knows what will happen when it come to Thantos. The only thing that is known for sure is when the Evil Gamemaster is around it will be an event to be remembered. Thantos has briefly remerged into the public eye in 2122 to not only dispute the claims of Mother Superior, but to announce his alliance with Sultana as well.
